It explains what data we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can delete it. We only collect the data needed to provide the service and we <strong>do not sell your data<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Privacy contact: <!--email_off--><a href=\"mailto:support@fixboxteam.com\">support@fixboxteam.com<\/a><!--\/email_off-->.<\/p>\n\n<h2>1. Data we collect<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Account information:<\/strong> display name, email, password (stored only as a one-way hash we cannot read), avatar. When you sign in with Google \/ Facebook \/ Zalo we receive your name, email, avatar and that platform&#8217;s account ID; Zalo sign-in also requires a phone number.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Avatar photo:<\/strong> only when you choose to change it. The app opens the system photo picker and reads only the one photo you pick; it does not browse your gallery and does not use the camera.<\/li>\n<li><strong>FixBox devices (ESP):<\/strong> MAC address, chip type, firmware version, the chip&#8217;s public key (to encrypt updates for that device only) and the activated tools. Used to issue licenses, deliver firmware updates (OTA) and make sure only the owner can use the device.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Purchase history:<\/strong> Pro bought in the app is paid through <strong>Google Play<\/strong> \u2014 we only receive the transaction ID, product and purchase time to activate Pro, <strong>never your card number<\/strong> or payment details. For licenses activated on the website we keep the order code, amount, time and the device activated.<\/li>\n<li><strong>App sessions:<\/strong> each signed-in phone gets a session token (stored as a hash, expires after 180 days, up to 10 devices).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technical data:<\/strong> IP address and the country derived from it (provided by Cloudflare) \u2014 used to choose the default language \/ currency and to block repeated failed sign-ins. The app does <strong>not<\/strong> collect GPS location.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advertising ID:<\/strong> the free version of the app shows Google AdMob ads \u2014 see section 3.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Website cookies:<\/strong> keep you signed in and remember language \/ theme; Google AdSense on the website may use advertising cookies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The app does <strong>not<\/strong> access your contacts, messages, calls, microphone, camera, precise location or files, and uses no tracking \/ analytics tools other than those listed above.<\/p>\n\n<h2>2. Bluetooth and phone permissions<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Nearby devices (Bluetooth, Android 12+):<\/strong> only to find and connect to your FixBox device, read \/ send CAN data and update its firmware. The scan permission is declared as &#8220;not used to derive location&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location (Android 8 \u2013 11 only):<\/strong> these Android versions require the Location permission for Bluetooth scanning. The app does not read your location or send it anywhere.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Internet:<\/strong> to sign in, check licenses and download updates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Data read from your vehicle \/ battery \/ inverter through the FixBox device is <strong>shown on your phone only<\/strong> and is not sent to our servers.<\/p>\n\n<h2>3. Advertising<\/h2>\n<p>The free version shows <strong>Google AdMob<\/strong> ads. AdMob may collect your device&#8217;s advertising ID, IP address and device information (model, OS version) to serve, frequency-cap and measure ads, under <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.google.com\/technologies\/ads\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google&#8217;s advertising policies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before ads are shown (Google&#8217;s consent form). You can change your choice at any time in the app: <strong>Settings \u2192 Ad privacy choices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads in Android settings (Settings \u2192 Google \u2192 Ads \/ Privacy).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pro<\/strong> removes all ads from the app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>4. How we use data<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Create, sign in to and protect your account; keep it in sync between the website and the app.<\/li>\n<li>Issue tool and Pro licenses; deliver firmware updates to the right device.<\/li>\n<li>Send necessary emails (verification codes, sign-in links, account notices). We do not send marketing email unless you subscribe.<\/li>\n<li>Customer support; fraud and abuse prevention (e.g. limiting failed sign-ins).<\/li>\n<li>Show ads in the free version.<\/li>\n<li>Meet legal obligations (accounting, tax, lawful requests from authorities).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>5. Sharing with third parties<\/h2>\n<p>We <strong>do not sell<\/strong> or <strong>rent<\/strong> personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers below, each processing it under its own policy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Google:<\/strong> Google sign-in, Google Play billing, AdMob ads (app) and AdSense (website).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meta \/ Facebook<\/strong> and <strong>Zalo:<\/strong> only if you choose to sign in with them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cloudflare:<\/strong> protects and delivers the website \/ API server (processes traffic, including IP addresses).<\/li>\n<li>An <strong>email delivery service<\/strong> (verification codes, sign-in links) and <strong>payment partners<\/strong> when you pay on the website.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Competent authorities<\/strong> when required by law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Data is stored on our servers in Vietnam; the providers above may process data in other countries under their own data-protection commitments.<\/p>\n\n<h2>6. Security<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>All data between the app \/ browser and our servers is <strong>encrypted in transit<\/strong> (HTTPS \/ TLS).<\/li>\n<li>Passwords and session tokens are stored only as hashes; email verification codes expire after 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Licenses and Bluetooth connection tickets are digitally signed; firmware updates are encrypted per device.<\/li>\n<li>Only administrators can access the servers; sign-in attempts are rate-limited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>7. Retention and deletion<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Account data is kept until you delete your account.<\/li>\n<li>App sessions expire after 180 days of inactivity or when you sign out; verification codes \/ sign-in links expire after 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>When you delete your account we immediately delete your name, email, avatar, phone number, sessions, Pro and the tool licenses on your devices (the devices are released). Server backups rotate automatically; deleted data disappears from backups within about 5 weeks.<\/li>\n<li>Records of paid transactions are kept <strong>without your account details<\/strong> for the period required by Vietnamese accounting \/ tax law.<\/li>\n<li>Pro bought through Google Play: deleting your account does not refund it automatically; your Google Play order history is managed by Google.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>8. Your rights \u2014 how to delete your account<\/h2>\n<p>You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data and to withdraw consent. View \/ edit: the Account page on the website or the <strong>Profile<\/strong> tab in the app. To delete your account and all personal data, use any of these:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In the app: <strong>Profile \u2192 Delete account<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>On the web: <a href=\"\/en\/xoa-tai-khoan\/\">fixboxteam.com\/xoa-tai-khoan<\/a> (sign in, then confirm).<\/li>\n<li>Email <!--email_off-->support@fixboxteam.com<!--\/email_off--> from your registered address \u2014 we handle it within 7 days.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Options 1 and 2 take effect immediately and cannot be undone.<\/p>\n\n<h2>9. Children<\/h2>\n<p>The service is intended for people aged 18 and over (repair and electrical work). The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if we find any, we delete it.<\/p>\n\n<h2>10.
